Today got a last minute appointment and went out with shi wei and his cousin - Ji Guan. This is 1 of the few times I could remember a person's name so well at our first meeting. He just came out from Malaysia for holiday. We went to Queensway Shopping Centre - to find a soccer ball which wasn't available in Malaysia - Anchor Point, IKEA and Tiong Bahru Plaza. Felt that these places had been better compared to my last trip, except for Anchor Point. We just went round Anchor Point and it took merely less then 30 minutes. There wasn't much to shop. Spent the most time at IKEA, and tried almost every single sofa, chairs and the beds around. They are just simply comfortable. Models of dining room, bedroom, living room and etc were set up in the relative sections. The furnitures and colours were well chosen and it really made a comfy atmosphere, really hoped that my future home could be like one of those. Proceed to Tiong Bahru Plaza and spent our time chatting. The roof top which was once empty and left abandoned, except for smokers to smoke, is now used by a restaurant as an open-air space for the customers to dine. The ambiance was great with occasional breeze passing by. There is still a small coner reserved for smokers though. We sat there and chatted our time off and gazing at the dark sky trying to look for the traces of stars. The sky were overcasted and no stars could be seen, instead, saw quite a few planes flying past. Had a cup of sundae at McDonald's before we left. Had an enjoyable day...
